Name  Russell Hood
Age  24
Previous clubs  Burnham Juniors, Old Windsor, Castle Utd, Langley Rovers, Montem Athletic
Position  Centre back
Favourite player  Steven Gerrard, Lionel Messi
Favourite Team  MK Dons, Slough Town
Biography  Former Taplow Utd top scorer in former days as a forward before the beer monster got hold of me.  Now developed into a consistent centre back (but consistent at what - ed). Taplow Utd Sunday team manager
Most memorable match Reading League Junior Cup final 2006.  After being 0-2 down I scored two headers to equalise, before we were finally defeated by a last minute penalty.
WAG  The voluptious Sam

Name  Dale Bowden
Age  20
Previous clubs  Iver Youth, Windsor Phoenix, Old Paludians
Position  Right Winger (rhymes with ginger minger - ed)
Favourite player  Steven Gerrard
Favourite Team  The mighty Taplow Utd
Biography  I suffered a bad ankle break while playing at Windsor and after
a year out I came back stronger and more dedicated and joined
Taplow Utd to further my 'career'.  Since then  have developed
into one Taplow's best players.  I now have the status of
'backbone' (really I thought your team nickname was 'worm' -ed);  most players look to me for support and encouragement
 (oh no they don't -ed)
Most memorable match  Playing for Windsor against my mates team I scored a screamer from just inside their half
WAG  Single and Proud to be so

Name  Shane Bowden
Age  22
Previous clubs  Iver Youth, Taplow Youth
Position  Right Back
Favourite player  David Beckham - exceptional player
Favourite Team  Manchester Utd
Biography  I established myself at right back for Iver Youth.  I played a few games for Taplow Youth and moved into the men's third team working my way up into the reserves where in my first season I picked up young player of the year.  I have won players' player for the Taplow Utd Sunday and Saturday reserve teams.  I am attacking right back these days foraging into the oppositions half - a la Daniel Alves (except he's worth 24 million and according to rumours you are valued at 24 quid- ed)
Most memorable match  Reading League Junior Cup semi final 2006.  We beat Marlow Utd in
 a close game
WAG  The intellectual and delicious Hannah

Name Mark Landers
Age  21
Previous clubs  Taplow Boys, Burnham FC
Position  Striker or Winger (stick to winger -ed)
Favourite player  Steven Gerrard
Favourite Team  Liverpool
Biography  I joined Taplow in 2006/7. I like to run at players and dribble with the ball which I is why I like the winger striker position.  This will be my first full season back and I aim to establish my self as top scorer.  Fun loving, I like a good night out with the lads.  Hard working and honest.
Most memorable match  Taplow Utd Sunday team versus Harvey Park.  We were two -one down and I scored two goals in the last 15 minutes taking a boot in the head for the second goal (which explains why he hasn't looked like scoring since- ed)

Position Striker (the variety you see on picket lines)
Favourite player
 Goalkeeper - Schmichael
 Outfield player - Fabregas
Favourite Team  Arsenal
Biography
A good player on a good day, normally up in the top 3 scorers. Started at Maidenhead boys, where we only drew one game in 3 years, lost the rest, well I was at right back. ha ha ( many of us think he shoudl have stayed there). Then moved to Castle Hill Youth, who formed to Taplow youth, came runners up in league.

Been at Taplow united for 14 years, apart from 2 seasons at Maidenhead. Finally got a league medal last year.(At last). But wouldn't change Taplow for any other club, players and members are a great laugh, and we get to see if Russell Hood will finally get the record breaking yellow and red cards issued in one season.
Most memorable match Was against Englefield, I hadn't scored for over 5 games, but with the partnership of KHS I came back to scoring with a hat trick to take the golden boot of the league home and club. (same place where Kev got his last season)

Position Left wing
Favourite player  Dale Bowden because he's pants and I feel sorry for him
Favourite Team  Manchester Utd
Biography  This is my second season for Taplow Utd and while I can run I have the touch of you know who.  Scored only three goals so far and hope to make it more this season.  I started playing football and joined Taplow to get fit, improve and meet new people - (when I'm not competing in Miss World Competitions - ed).  I'm very outgoing, sometimes too much as I tend to get beaten to pulp regularly in clubs
Most memorable match  (Trust me he has not had one - ed)
Wag ? Whoever this beautiful lady is - his partner at the dinner dance - she's too good for Chris
